At all Šiaulių bankas (hereafter referred to as the ‘Bank’) branches, cash can be deposited into your own, another person’s or a company’s account, as well as withdrawn from your own account. Please note that:
- When depositing cash into another customer’s account at the Bank or making a SEPA credit transfer to another bank in cash exceeding EUR 10,000, you must provide supporting documents for the origin of the funds.
- When depositing cash into another customer’s account at the Bank or making a SEPA credit transfer to another bank in cash, if you have an account with the Bank, you must deposit the cash into your account then make the payments from it.
- If a customer is an individual and does not have an account with the Bank, there are restrictions on operations (number of operations per month) as specified in the Service Price List.
- For individuals who do not have an account with Šiaulių bankas, before each one-time cash deposit into another customer’s account at the Bank or making a SEPA credit transfer in cash to another bank, it is mandatory to fill out a form at the Bank’s branch.
- Individuals can deposit transfer cash to VMI or SODRA accounts according to the cash deposit or transfer limits specified in the Service Price List.
- The Bank does not accept or issue foreign currency coins.
- If part of the amount to be paid to the customer cannot be paid in foreign currency coins, then this amount shall be converted into euro.
- Worn out and/or damaged:
- Foreign banknotes (old or defective) are not accepted and are not exchanged for new banknotes.
- Euro banknotes and coins are exchanged if they follow the requirements announced on the Bank of Lithuania’s website, which you can find here.
Attention! When performing a cash operation, carefully verify that the account number is correct. The payment operation is carried out based on the recipient’s account number you provided. An incorrect account number may result in the funds being credited to another customer’s account, even if the name of the payee is correct.
The Bank reserves the right not to provide cash services to Customers who do not have a business relationship with the Bank, or who do not provide all the necessary information. If you frequently use cash operations at the Bank’s branches, we recommend becoming a client and establishing ongoing business relationships with the Bank. In such cases, there are fewer restrictions on operations.
