We have merged not only our businesses, but also our regulations for the protection of personal data. We process personal data in the manner specified in the Privacy Policy of Šiaulių Bankas Group companies in Lithuania. This policy replaces the Personal Data Protection Rules of Šiaulių Bankas AB, which applied until 1 December 2023, the Information for Consumer Loan Borrowers on How Their Information is Collected, Used and Stored and the Personal Data Protection Policy of SB Lizingas UAB, and the Personal Data Processing Rules of the life insurance company SB draudimas.

The clients of Šiaulių Bankas can conveniently add expertly managed investment funds for retail investors, second- and third-pillar pension funds, and new life insurance investment lines to their suite of financial services.

The life insurance contracts were transferred to a new manager, the life insurance company SB draudimas, a Šiaulių Bankas Group company, on the same terms and conditions as before the transaction. In addition to life insurance services, clients can also access daily banking services: from bank accounts and bank cards to mortgage and consumer loans – all from a single source.

Personal data of the life insurance clients processed for service-related and direct marketing purposes have been transferred to a new controller, the life insurance company SB Draudimas UAB (reg. No. 110081788, head office address: Gynėjų g. 14, Vilnius), which will process personal data in the same manner and to the same extent as they were processed by INVL Life UADB.

The existing pension and investment fund agreements in Lithuania have been transferred to a new manager, SB Asset Management UAB, a Šiaulių Bankas Group company, on the same terms and conditions as before the transaction. In addition to investment and pension fund management services, the clients can also access daily banking services such as bank accounts, bank cards, mortgage and consumer loans – all from a single source.

Personal data of the clients using pension and investment fund services in Lithuania that are processed in connection with the membership of pension and investment funds and for direct marketing purposes have been transferred to a new controller, SB Asset Management UAB (reg. No. 306241274, head office address: Gynėjų g. 14, Vilnius), which will process personal data in the same manner and to the same extent as they were processed by INVL Asset Management UAB.

The existing life insurance contracts remain valid for SB draudimas clients who can now add expertly managed investment funds for retail investors, second- and third-pillar pension funds, and new life insurance investment lines to their suite of financial services as well as choose financial products from the entire range offered by Šiaulių Bankas.

As of 1 December 2023, the operations, customer service, website, self-service portals, social network accounts and brand of SB Draudimas are integrated into the operations of Šiaulių Bankas Group, and all these services will be provided directly through Šiaulių Bankas. In Latvia and Estonia, SB Draudimas will provide services to the clients as SB Insurance.

In the merger of the retail businesses of Šiaulių Bankas and INVL, the employees of INVL and their know-how are an integral part of the deal. Therefore, INVL’s unique and professional expertise and strategy in the pension and investment fund and life insurance lines of business has been retained.

These changes are relevant for INVL clients:

• who save in INVL II-pillar pension funds
• who save in INVL III-pillar pension funds
• for customers who have invested in INVL funds for retail investors
• who have life insurance contracts with INVL Life in Lithuania, Latvia, or Estonia
