We inform you that from 1 March 2018 onwards, the updated general terms and conditions for the payment card of Šiaulių bankas come into effect.
The most important change is the modified condition of card renewal: if the card has not been used to execute cash or settlement operations in the last 3 months, the bank has the right not to renew the card.
Due to the fact that Šiaulių bankas terminates its cooperation with Visa, the Visa Group cards also no longer exist in the conditions.
You can see the updated terms here.
If the client agrees with the changes to the General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Payment Card, he/she does not need to take any action. If the client does not agree with them, he/she is entitled, immediately and without paying any commission, to terminate the Bank's payment card issuance agreement, as it is regulated in the General Terms and Conditions for provision of Šiaulių bankas services, before the effective date of these amendments, informing Šiaulių bankas in writing accordingly.
Please note that the termination of a bank account or a payment card issuance agreement does not release the client from due execution of all his/her obligations to Šiaulių bankas, which arose before the date of termination of the contract. It is deemed that the client agrees with the specified changes if he/she has not informed Šiaulių bankas that he or she disagrees with the amendments before their effective date.
