Šiaulių bankas signed a collaboration agreement with the Lithuanian National Veterans Association

Lithuanian capital public company Šiaulių bankas signed a collaboration agreement with the Lithuanian National Veterans Association (LNVA).

Šiaulių bankas, acting as a social partner of veterans’ integration into society project, offers the military personnel of working age who have completed their service, the specific financial products designed only for them, which are oriented to a full-fledged veterans’ social integration into the labour market as well as promotion of entrepreneurship.

“Šiaulių bankas offers the Association and its members to have their daily financial affairs much cheaper and thus save costs. Those planning to start a business are also always welcome in our bank: bank employees will provide all the necessary information,” Rimvydas Mockus, Head of Šiaulių bankas Vilnius Region, who signed the agreement, spoke about the cooperation opportunities.

Such cooperation of LNVA with financial institutions is the part of five-year integration program (5MIP) in the veterans’ integration into society project for the military personnel leaving to the reserve. Association carries out the 5MIP program in conjunction with the Ministry of National Defence, which provides non-material assistance in the integration of the reservist soldiers, in order to maintain their qualifications and skills.
