Šiaulių bankas became a partner of the Constitution exam
This year Šiaulių bankas became one of the major partners of the Constitution exam. Contributing to the arrangement of the event the bank is also inviting its clients and employees to join the initiative and participate in the exam.
According to Chief Executive Officer of Šiaulių bankas Vytautas Sinius, the bank has been always seeking to be a socially responsible company contributing to creation of the educated, legally sophisticated society , therefore it supports and fosters the initiative of the Constitution exam as bearing educational character and delivering knowledge useful to the citizens. V.Sinius says he believes that other companies will also contribute to the bank's initiative and will foster their clients and employees to participate in exam.
"The Constitution exam deepens the citizens' legal knowledge and develops their awareness. Therefore, we are not only contributing to the organization of the event, but also have personally invited all the customers to be active participants in the Constitution exam. To check the knowledge of the country's principal law is useful to each of us, - says the CEO of Šiaulių bankas.
The Constitution exam has been arranged by the Ministry of Justice for the eighth year in turn. This year it will be arranged on September 30. Last year about 30 thou citizens of Lithuania participated in the exam, the similar number is expected this year. Each citizen can pass the Constitution exam in any municipality of the country as well as on the news portal DELFI.
Those participants who show the best result during the first stage will be invited to the second one to be held on 14 October. The winners will be figured out after the second stage. They will be awarded by President Dalia Grybauskaitė and Minister of Justice Juozas Bernatonis at the Presidential Palace on 28 October 2014.
In addition to Šiaulių bankas, such institutions as Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuanian municipalities, the Ministry of Education and Law Firm "Trinity" also assist organizing the project. The news portal DELFI, Lithuanian National Radio and Television are the information sponsors of the project.
