SEPA requirements will come into force in Lithuania soon. Registration to the free seminars, especially relevant to business, is still available

2015-09-07

Taking into consideration that since  01 January 2016 the requirements set by the Single Euro Payments Area will come into force, Šiaulių Bankas  arranges free seminars and invites companies to register.

In no time the payments in euros will be performed under the unified payment schemes and the same key payment terms in the entire area which   covers 34 states (all of the European Union (EU) member states, plus Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, the Principality of Monaco and San Marino).

These changes which will come into force in Lithuania on the first day of the coming year are very important and useful (processes will be automatized, simpler with lower system maintenance costs, etc.) , however, companies have to prepare for them.

In order to explain the SEPA requirements and core of the future processes  as well as the mandatory preparatory actions to be taken over the transition period, Šiaulių Bankas invites companies, institutions and organizations to register to the free seminar on SEPA which will cover such topics as

  • Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and its requirements
  • SEPA credit transfers and instalment of ISO 20022 XML  format messages
  • Electronic account
