"In order to make it as little inconvenient for our clients as possible, we decided to carry out the IT system updating works on weekend when our clients use the bank's services least often. During this stage, we are not going to make any functional changes to the information system but the updates will ensure smooth and continuous functioning of the system and will form the basis for modernization of business processes", said Jonas Bartkus, head of IT division at Šiaulių bankas, noting that these updates will lead to higher quantity and quality of bank services rendered to the clients in future.

Banking services at the client service branches and via SB linija will be renewed on Monday, 15 July. However at the beginning of the next week, temporary functioning failures might be expected when rendering services at the client service branches as well as some other functions of the e-bank might be operating incorrectly due to the complicated technological update of the system.
