Announcement: E-billing And Import L/C Fees That Will Apply From 1 January 2016

Dear Customers,

Please be informed that from the beginning of the next year in Lithuania all money transfers in euros will be carried out on the basis of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) requirements set forth by the European Parliament and Council Regulation No. 260/2012.

Since 1 January 2016 (inclusive), currently provided direct debit service will no longer be available. Instead, Šiaulių bankas will offer the clients access to new electronic bill (e-billing) service, enabling to receive and pay bills as usual through the Internet banking system SB linija or in bank branches.

Especially convenient opportunity of this service is automatic e-bill payment. Should you chose it, e-bill payment will be free for you. E-bill can be paid by simple transfer of funds. In this case, usual rates for transfers in euros will apply.
