An increased authorized capital of Šiaulių bankas is registered

On Dec.18th, 2006 a new edit of the Charter of Šiaulių bankas AB was registered with the increased authorized capital. The previous authorized capital of LTL 94 million has been increased by 16 per cent and exceeded LTL109 million.

On Jul.4th , 2006 the General Shareholders’ Meeting decided to increase the Bank’s authorized capital from additional contributions by issuing 15 million ordinary registered shares with a nominal value LTL 1. The dissemination of the share issue when one share was sold at LTL 2,20 issue price was finished on November 23rd  this year.

It is already the eighth increase of the Bank’s authorized capital since 2003, when the Bank has started its consecutive increase of the authorized capital. During the recent four years the Bank’s authorized capital has increased by 2,9 times from LTL 38.021.000 to LTL 109.039.200. The share of the residents comprises 71,27 per cent of the authorized capital while non-residents possess 28,73 per cent.

The senior management of the Bank confirm that it is planned to increase the Bank’s authorized capital from the Bank’s own funds and from the additional contributions in future as well.

On 22-12-2006 the shares of the new issue are going to be written on the investors’ security accounts with Šiaulių bankas. The investors will have them at their free disposal since that day. Those who are willing to transfer their shares from Šiaulių bankas may address their managers of securities accounts.

During 2006 Šiaulių bankas is planning to earn profit of  LTL 13,6 million, i.e. by one and a half million litas more than it has been planned. In 2007 the Bank expects to receive profit of  LTL 22 million.
