A. Žiugžda is leaving Šiaulių bankas


Deputy Chairman of the Board  and Chief Executive Officer of Šiaulių bankas Audrius Žiugžda has decided to finish his work at Šiaulių bankas.  A.Žiugžda will remain in his capacity until 31 January 2014. A.Žiugžda has led Šiaulių bankas for three years. 

"I had an unique opportunity to work with the strong team of Šiaulių bankas that is not afraid of the challenges, to contribute to the bank's successful performance and implementation of its goals as well as to gain much valuable experience.  The recent years have been very important and responsible to Šiaulių bankas - we've managed to strengthen the name of Šiaulių bankas, expand the clientèle, gain unique experience while taking over the part of Ūkio bankas' assets and liabilities.  Today Šiaulių bankas has a great potential and is ready for further significant changes and development.  The changing times dictate new solutions - I'm leaving Šiaulių bankas for personal reasons", - says A.Žiugžda.

A.Žiugžda has been taking the capacity of the Chief Executive Officer of Šiaulių bankas since February 2011. Under his leadership Šiaulių bankas has grown up to 77 branches all over Lithuania and doubled the number of its clients which currently exceeds 300 thousand.  Among other commercial banks operating in Lithuania Šiaulių bankas has become the bank number 5 by managed assets this year.  In 2013 the international magazine "The Banker" issued by „The Financial Times“ awarded Šiaulių bankas as the best bank in Lithuania.
