A nominal scholarship of Šiaulių Bankas to a talented Master's student

Šiaulių Bankas granted its nominal scholarship to  Agnė Galinskaitė, a student of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU). The nominal scholarship to the student of this high school has been granted for the seventh time.

A.Galinskaitė is a Master's student of the Finance and Banking studies at the VMU Faculty of Economics and Management. The student has been awarded for her academic achievements and constant striving for improvement in the field of studies closely related to activities run by Šiaulių Bankas.

The girl from Suvalkija did not hide that news about the scholarship was surprising for her. "Very soon I am heading to the Norwegian School of Economics to expand my knowledge under the double diploma programme.  Therefore, the scholarship will be very useful as the cost of living in Norway is pretty high", - the scholarship winner shared her personal plans.

Mantas Ambutavičius, Director of corporate clients of of Kaunas region and branch of  Šiaulių Bankas AB and graduate of the VMU, granted the scholarship to the winner.

"We appreciate the talented and active students and we also know how important is appropriate motivation during the studies.  The Bank's scholarship is a purposeful support to young people so that they do not stop and continue striving for their objectives.  This scholarship is not only the assessment of Agne's efforts but also an incentive to achieve even better results ", - said M. Ambutavičius welcoming the student.

On 29 March 2013, Šiaulių Bankas signed a collaboration agreement with Vytautas Magnus University and founded a nominal scholarship, which is granted to two students of the VMU annually - the scholarship is granted to those who achieve the best study results and academic activities.
