What data should be submitted if it is requested to transfer funds to the other bank registered in Lithuania?
What is the difference between an ordinary transfer and an urgent transfer?

If it is requested to transfer funds in Litas to the other bank registered in Lithuania it is necessary to indicate the beneficiary’s name, surname, identification number or the company’s name and code, address, the beneficiary’s account number in IBAN format.
If it is requested to transfer funds in foreign currency to the other bank registered in Lithuania it is necessary to indicate the beneficiary’s name, surname, identification number or the company’s name and code, address, the beneficiary’s account number in IBAN format and the beneficiary’s bank SWIFT code.

• An ordinary transfer of funds in Litas is executed on the same banking day if the client submits the order by 2:00 p.m. If the client submits the order after 2:00 p.m., the payment is executed on the next banking day. 
• An urgent transfer of funds in Litas is executed immediately, latest within an hour, if the order is submitted by 3:15 p.m. If the client submits the order after 3:15 p.m., the payment is executed on the next banking day.

Submitting a payment order it is possible to the transfer of funds from customer’s account to the other beneficiary’s account  in the other bank registered in Lithuania using the Internet service system SB linija. The operations, which are executed by using the SB linija, are described in the SB linija manual.

When the payment orders are executed in Lithuania?
When funds will reach the account with other bank registered in Lithuania if the payment order is submitted on Friday at the end of the banking day?
Are there any limitations applied for the transfer of funds during the day while transferring them into the other bank registered in Lithuania?

The transfer of funds in Litas is executed on the same banking day if:
• the payer’s and the beneficiary’s accounts are with Šiaulių bankas;
• the beneficiary’s account is with other bank registered in Lithuania and the ordinary payment order is submitted in the bank or using the SB linija by 2:00 p.m.;
• the beneficiary’s account is with other bank registered in Lithuania and the urgent payment order is submitted in the bank or using the SB linija by 3:15 p.m.

The transfer of funds in foreign currency is executed on the same banking day if:
• the beneficiary’s account is with other bank registered in Lithuania and the payment order in foreign currency is submitted in the bank or using the SB linija by 12:00 a.m.

If the payment order is submitted on Friday at the end of the banking day, funds will reach to the other bank account registered in Lithuania on Monday after the first clearing of the settlement system LITAS, which is at 9:00 a.m.

• While transferring funds, the amount and the number of operations are not limited if the payment order is submitted in the bank.
• While transferring funds by the SB linija, the conditions defined in the electronic services agreement are applied.

Is it possible to execute the transfer of funds to the other banks registered in Lithuania if the client does not have the account with Šiaulių bankas?

The client that does not have the account with Šiaulių bankas can transfer funds to the other bank registered in Lithuania.
