European Investment Fund (EIF) and AB Siauliu Bankas today signed an agreement under which Siauliu Bankas will provide loans worth EUR 40 million (over LTL 138 million to) Small and medium sized enterprises SMEs in Lithuania.

Since January 11th 2010 Šiaulių bankas has changed the deposit interest rates in litas. Šiaulių bankas pays 6.8 per cent for the one-year accumulative deposits in litas, 3.9 per cent - for the deposits in euros, and 1.9 per cent of interest for the same period deposits in US dollars.

Since January 6th Šiaulių bankas has changed the interest rates paid for the deposits in litas. The bank pays 7.3 per cent of annual interest for a one-year time deposit in litas, 7 per cent - for nine-month and 6.7 per cent - for six-month time deposit in litas.
